Canes Legends Coach Jim Larranaga and Antrel Rolle to Co-Host 2026 UMSHoF&M Celebrity Bowling Tournament and Game Watch Party!

Former Hurricanes Men’s Basketball Coach Jim Larranaga and All-American cornerback Antrel Rolle will serve as co-hosts of the UM Sports Hall of Fame & Museum’s 16th Annual Celebrity Bowling Tournament & Game Watch Party on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 6-9 p.m., at Kings Dining and Entertainment in Doral. The event will coincide with the Canes basketball game in Tallahassee against the Noles.

“I am thrilled to be co-hosting this awesome event with Antrel that supports the UM Sports Hall of Fame & Museum,” said Coach Larranaga, the program’s leader in basketball coaching victories. “In my years of coaching at Miami, I heard about the event but wasn’t able to join the fun. I’m happy to attend this year and be able to watch the FSU game with many of our great Canes fans!” Coach L. was inducted into the UMSHoF&M in 2023 and retired in 2024 after serving 41 years of head coaching, 13-plus with Miami.

“It’s that time of year again where we get things ROCKIN’,” said Rolle, a 2004 consensus All-American at cornerback. “Super excited to co-host next to the man himself, Coach L. As a member of the Hall of Fame myself, there is no better way to show my appreciation. Let’s GO!!!” Antrel was inducted into the UMSHoF&M in 2019 after being a first-round draft pick and spending 11 seasons in the NFL.

“As chairman of the annual UM Sports Hall of Fame & Museum Celebrity Bowling Tournament & Game Watch Party, I’m pleased to announce that this year we will have two Hall of Famers serve as co-hosts for the 2026 event,” said chairman Gerard Loisel. “Please come join hosts Coach Jim Larranaga and Antrel Rolle as they welcome Hurricane fans for a fun filled evening on February 24th”.

Canes fans can bowl with some of their favorite former Canes all-stars in a relaxing evening of family fun, food and Hurricanes camaraderie. Other Hurricane greats who have attended past bowling tournaments include Coach Katie Meier, Bernie Kosar, Maurice Crum, KC Jones, Jeremy Shockey, Kenny Calhoun, Reggie Wayne, Charles Johnson, Clinton Portis, Steve Edwards, Jodi Appelbaum-Steinbauer, Albert Bentley, Bubba Franks, Brett Romberg, Randal Hill, Eric Brown, Tracy Kerdyk, Jon Jay, Janet Haas, Darrin Smith and Heisman Trophy winner Gino Torretta.

Teams start at $500 for four bowlers, regular sponsor lanes are $1300, and premium sponsor lanes are $1800. Game Watch tickets can be purchased for $75 for adults (T-shirt included) and $25 for children under 12. Satellite Teams may compete in other cities for $350 per team, which includes the tournament t-shirt.
